About this home
They don't make homeownership like this anymore. For more than 60 years, the same owner has called 2637 Stranahan Drive home - loving it, caring for it, and creating a lifetime of memories along the way. That's not just a long time to own a home... that's a story. Now, this well-loved Alhambra home with a private pool, updated windows, newer electrical panel, central HVAC and bonus room behind the garage is ready for a new owner. Whether you appreciate the character of an older home, want to bring it into the next generation, or see the opportunity to create something uniquely your own, this property offers a wonderful canvas and a connection to the past that simply can't be replicated. Adding to the special character of this home is the remarkable story of its longtime owner. As a teenager during World War II, she escaped the occupying forces by boarding a ship, becoming separated forever from her parents in the process. She survived those extraordinary circumstances and went on to build a long and meaningful life, ultimately making 2637 Stranahan her home for more than six decades. Now, it's ready for someone new to write the next chapter.
