About this home
Rare 6.5-acre private sanctuary located just 8 minutes (5.2 miles) from Firefly Aerospace! Whether you are an employee needing proximate housing or a buyer seeking ultimate privacy and quality, this one-of-a-kind Texas property is a remarkable find. Enjoy low Burnet county tax rates, compare and save thousands! The setting is serene and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful spring wildflowers and mature forested acreage featuring no less than 10 varieties of trees. Built like a fortress for maximum energy efficiency, the home features a durable metal roof, 1-foot-thick concrete-reinforced block walls with 10-foot ceilings on the first floor, and 2x6 wall framing with 10-foot ceilings on the second floor. Coupled with 2 zoned HVAC units, the owner has always enjoyed remarkably low utility bills year-round. Heating and the brand-new range are powered by propane. Inside, enjoy fresh interior paint, stained concrete floors downstairs, solid wood flooring upstairs, and tile in both bathrooms. The primary bath features a large shower and an insulated 6-foot soaking tub designed to retain heat. Exterior updates include fresh paint and a newly stained deck. Enjoy over 1,250 square feet of outdoor living space, including a large front porch, an upper balcony with scenic views, and a massive stone patio. Bonus spaces include a central reinforced block safe room/storm shelter, plus a climate-controlled flex workshop, laundry, or gym with an overhead door (not included in the living sq ft). Adjacent, you will find a 2-car detached garage/workshop wired for 220 with ample room for large vehicles and equipment, an attached 1-car covered carport, PLUS a cleared pad site with a water line ready for an additional shop, barn, or outbuilding. A true custom sanctuary built to last!
