About this home

Templeton Ranch spans 261 acres in Llano County, just minutes from Llano and Lake Buchanan. At its heart stands an extraordinary live oak, a centuries-old Hill Country giant with a trunk nearly 20 feet around. This rare tree is a piece of living Texas history, believed to be among the largest in the county. The ranch is framed by rolling hills, mature oaks, and native cover, with seasonal creeks winding through and feeding two stock tanks that provide water, habitat, and scenic gathering spots. Trophy whitetail, turkey, and dove roam freely, while traces of Native American history remain along the creeks. In spring, bluebonnets blanket the hills in brilliant color. The location ensures quiet privacy, yet it's perfectly positioned for quick trips to town or the lake. With a strong water well and electricity on both ends, Templeton Ranch offers rare versatility-whether as a private retreat, family legacy, or prime subdivision investment in the Hill Country.
