About this home

If you're looking for a recreational property that's a little different from everything else on the market, this 14.38-acre tract near Davilla deserves a look. A former gravel pit has left behind unique terrain with elevation changes, open areas, wooded cover, and plenty of opportunities to turn the property into your own weekend playground. The property is mostly wooded with mature live oaks and post oaks providing excellent cover and a classic Central Texas setting. The varied terrain makes this a great place for UTVs, dirt bikes, horses, hiking, and exploring. For the hunter or shooting enthusiast, the combination of thick cover, open areas, and the terrain created by the former gravel operation provides numerous possibilities for hunting and recreational shooting. There's plenty of opportunity to make the property your own. Add a cabin or weekend setup, bring the camper, establish trails, or simply leave it largely untouched and enjoy the land as it sits. Whether you're looking for a hunting property, a place to ride, somewhere to shoot, or simply a private getaway in the country, this tract packs a lot of recreational potential into just over 14 acres. Access is from County Road 405, although there is currently no established driveway into the property. Older fencing is in place along three sides. The Davilla location provides convenient access to Granger Lake, Temple, Taylor, and Samsung's growing semiconductor campus, while also offering an easy route to I-35 and the greater Austin area. It's a country setting with good connectivity to several of Central Texas' major employment, growth, and recreational areas. Wildlife exemption is in place for lower taxes as well! With its heavy tree cover, unusual terrain, recreational potential, and convenient Central Texas location, this is the kind of property that could be a lot of fun to make your own. The sellers are motivated and ready to make a deal.
