About this home

This amazing river property encompasses land on both banks of the beautiful Llano River- an almost unheard of opportunity in this area. The 23+ acres sit next to the Schneider's Slab river crossing, west of Llano, and features a gorgeous custom-built 4 bed/3 bath home with exposed wood beams, screened porches, and other numerous high-end touches. The home is shaded by ancient oak trees and is set in an expansive park-like lawn. Nearby is a nice 2 bed/1 bath guest house for family and friends when they come to visit to enjoy the easy river access with swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Multiple patios provide room for barbecuing or enjoying a cocktail while you watch the sun set over the water. On the opposite bank is a 1.5 acre property with 500 feet of river frontage and which previously had a river cabin, recently destroyed by fire. The septic system and well are still in place in working order and a new cabin could easily be built for guests or as a short-term rental. The main property is ag-exempt for low taxes and has plenty of room for livestock, hunting, or country recreation. Down the road is the ever entertaining German hamlet of Castell- just 10 minutes away for live music, a burger, and a beer. With it's easy access to the clean and clear Llano River and it's many top-notch residential features, this may be the finest water property available today. Come see it before it's gone.
