About this home

MUST SEE PROPERTY WITH SPECTACULAR, PANORAMIC VIEWS, CENTRALLY LOCATED WITH GREAT COMMUTE TIMES TO ALL OF THE HAPPENING PLACES IN CENTRAL TEXAS!!! 66.309 +/- Ag-exempt acres located in an area central to many of the newest tech companies in Texas, just three miles off of Hwy. 290, near the Rising Sun Vineyard in McDade, Texas. At the end of the road and off the beaten path, this property is primarily near large, family-owned properties in a sparsely populated area and features a perfect, hilltop building site with the most incredible, unobstructed views for miles and miles! It's a short drive into town, but if you're just needing a bottle or two of wine or a stress-free night out, a quick trip to your neighbor's winery at the bottom of the hill is a breeze! A lot of the Texas Hill Country is known for its dry, desert-like climate and hills that rise 400-500 ft. The hill on Edmonson Road is 600-610 ft (OnX Maps) and overlooks lush pastures with herds of grazing cattle, acres of old-growth hardwood trees and rows and rows of neatly manicured, Texas grape vines. It's spectacular! Fenced and cross-fenced for cattle, it also has a stock pond and a spring-fed, wet-weather creek. Approximately 30 minutes from Tesla headquarters in Austin (less by helicopter) 35 minutes from Samsung in Taylor, 25 minutes from Bastrop and 15 from Elgin. Property with views like this don't come on the market much around here, so you better take a look while you can! You won't be disappointed! *Seller has estimates for getting electricity to the property. *Water well needed. *Property can be accessed by easement through Rising Sun Winery or through 15 acre property.
